We are humans. We all have the desire of understanding who we are and why we are here. This is an ongoing (coming of age) story about two people. In the story, an adult takes the hand of a teenager, observes him while fighting a mid-life crisis. His future persona driving him to what he’s going to become.

I met these two people thirty-one, and sixteen years ago, they are my father and brother. When I first started this project back in 2016, the idea was purely to document the teenage years of my sibling, the change from childhood to young adulthood. I was (mostly) interested in physical changes.

Then, in the summer of 2018, I decided to go back home for a while, and I spent an extended stretch with them two. It was then when I started to be curious about their relationship, about the fact that they were both going through a similar situation, my father was unemployed, and my mother was about to leave him.  So there we are all, navigating through time, long silences, nervous crisis, laughs and tears.
